In order to participate in the 8th Grade Celebration on May 26th, 2017, you must:

1.  Return this contract and pay $25 to help pay for the lunch and private party at the Rumours Night Club by April 7, 2017.

2.  Read & sign the contract.  A parent or guardian must also sign.

3.  Agree to and abide by the agreements in the contract.

1.    Obey all school rules.

2.    Display appropriate and acceptable behavior towards administrators, teachers, staff, and fellow students.

3.    Have no suspensions after March 28, 2017.

4.    Abide by the Special Event Dress Code set by the school administration, as described on the back of this page.

* If any of the aforementioned terms of the agreement are broken, you WILL NOT be permitted to participate in the 8th grade Celebration.  If the infraction occurs after our payment date to the vendor, there will be NO REFUND of the student’s Celebration payment or activity fees.

* If you lose this contract, see Mrs. Young in the F3 as soon as possible.

* If you need special assistance so that your child may participate in this event, please see Mrs. Young in F3 as soon as possible.

The Special Events Dress Code is as follows:

a.  All tops shall not reveal any cleavage and must cover the midriff.  Sleeveless tops must have straps two (2) inches or wider and be tight fitting under the arms.  Spaghetti straps, backless or shoulderless garments with or without jackets are not permitted.

b.  All clothing must be free of messages relating to drugs, gangs, sex or profanity.

c.  The length of the skirts or shorts shall reach the open fingertips when arm is extended down the student’s side.

d.  All skirt or dress slits must not be shorter than open fingertips when the arm is extended down the student’s side.

e.  No layering of shirts is allowed.

f.  Sagging or oversized pants are not allowed.  Pants must be secured at the waist (no under garments showing).

g.  Baseball caps, visors, stocking caps, or sweat band of any kind are not to be worn.

h. Jewelry representing drugs, gangs, inappropriate language, etc. is prohibited.

i.  Any gang related fashion is prohibited.

Please note:

1.    All students must have their school ID with them to participate.

2.    Formal dress is not appropriate for this event, as the students still need to be comfortable at school.  Please, no prom-wear. 

3.    This celebration is for students only, no parents or other family members are invited.  Please use family time after school to celebrate with your student.
